有孚，元吉，无咎，可貞，利有攸往。曷之用，二簋可用享。
Decrease combined with sincerity brings about supreme good fortune without blame. Two small bowls may be used for the sacrifice.
損下益上，宜節制欲望，以簡持敬。

山下有澤，損；君子以懲忿窒欲。
At the foot of the mountain, the lake; the noble one controls his anger and restrains his instincts.

- 損下益上，宜節制。懲忿窒欲，此卦要你主動減去一些東西，而減得對就有元吉。
- 感情LOVE
- 有一方在付出。三人行則損一人，關係裡多出來的那個因素要處理掉。
- 財運MONEY
- 主動減少支出。二簋可用享，誠意夠的話，簡薄的方式一樣成立。
- 健康HEALTH
- 損其疾使遄有喜，減去有害的習慣，效果來得比想像中快。
- 學業STUDY
- 做減法。砍掉貪多的科目，專注在真正重要的那幾項。
- 考試EXAM
- 考前最後階段該放棄一些題型。與其每類都半懂，不如確定放掉最弱的一兩類，把時間換到穩拿的分數上。
- 人際PEOPLE
- 圈子要精簡。一人行則得其友，人少反而遇到對的人。
- 抉擇CHOICE
- 宜選擇捨棄而非增加。此時做減法的決定多半是對的。
- 出行TRAVEL
- 宜簡行。輕裝、少排、留白，此卦不喜滿。
- 尋失物LOST
- 可能有損失，東西或許回不來了。接受減損，把注意力放在替代方案。
六爻爻辭
已事遄往，无咎，酌損之。
Going quickly when one's own affairs are finished is without blame. But one must reflect on how much one may decrease others.
已事遄往，无咎。事情辦完就趕快走。酌損之：此爻提醒，幫忙可以，但要斟酌自己減損多少。
利貞，征凶，弗損益之。
Perseverance furthers. To undertake something brings misfortune. Without decreasing oneself, one is able to bring increase to others.
利貞，征凶。弗損益之：不減損自己也能利益別人。此爻的智慧是：付出不必以自傷為代價。
三人行，則損一人；一人行，則得其友。
When three people journey together, their number decreases by one. When one man journeys alone, he finds a companion.
三人行則損一人，一人行則得其友。人多了要減，人少了會遇。此爻講的是關係的自然平衡。
損其疾，使遄有喜，无咎。
If a man decreases his faults, it makes the other hasten to come and rejoice. No blame.
損其疾，使遄有喜。減去自己的毛病。此爻是損卦最直接的一爻：損的對象應該是缺點，不是資源。
或益之十朋之龜，弗克違，元吉。
Someone does indeed increase him. Ten pairs of tortoises cannot oppose it. Supreme good fortune.
或益之十朋之龜。減損到極處，反而有人來增益。弗克違元吉：此爻的好處大到擋都擋不住。
弗損益之，无咎，貞吉，利有攸往，得臣无家。
If one is increased without depriving others, there is no blame. Perseverance brings good fortune.
弗損益之，得臣无家。不減損而能增益。此爻是損卦的完成：損到最後轉為益，且惠及眾人。
