拔茅茹以其彙，征吉。一動就帶起一整串。此爻的好處在於連帶效應，該行動就行動。
包荒，用馮河，不遐遺，朋亡，得尚于中行。
Bearing with the uncultured in gentleness, fording the river with resolution, not neglecting what is distant.
包荒用馮河。有餘裕去容納難處理的人事，同時果決行事。得尚于中行。
无平不陂，无往不復，艱貞无咎。勿恤其孚，于食有福。
No plain not followed by a slope. No going not followed by a return. He who remains persevering in danger is without blame.
无平不陂，无往不復。順的中間點。此爻提醒：現在就要為將來的坡做準備，艱貞无咎。
翩翩不富，以其鄰，不戒以孚。
He flutters down, not boasting of his wealth, together with his neighbor.
翩翩不富以其鄰。輕鬆地與人分享。不戒以孚，此時不必設防，對方是真心的。
帝乙歸妹，以祉元吉。
The sovereign gives his daughter in marriage. This brings blessing and supreme good fortune.
帝乙歸妹，以祉元吉。門當戶對的結合。此爻大吉，適合把關係或合作正式化。
城復于隍，勿用師，自邑告命，貞吝。
The wall falls back into the moat. Use no army now. Make your commands known within your own town.
城復于隍，勿用師。牆塌回壕溝。泰極而否，此時不宜出兵，只能守住自己的地方。
